SCOTT CHANCE
Scott Chance, 28 of Connersville, passed away on February 13, 2021. He was born on September 7, 1992, in Connersville to Nicole Jessee Crawley and Ronnie Chance.
Scott played Babe Ruth baseball in Connersville for many of his childhood years. He went to state for his baseball achievements two times. He enjoyed spending his time riding quads with his friends. Anything that went fast he was ready to work on and ride. He loved to build muscle cars. Most importantly he cherished his time spent with his family and friends and especially his dog, Nikko.
Scott is survived by his mother and stepfather, Nicole and Bobby Crawley; a son, Sawyer Wright; siblings, Cierra Hoeg, Lexi Chance, Haile Crawley and Braide Rose; grandparents, Brenda “Nana” Jessee, ChiChi Chance and Becky Crawley; a great grandmother, Kathleen Lykins; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Chance and his papaw, Carl Lykins.
Visitation for Scott will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th St. Connersville, Indiana 47331. The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m., at the funeral home with his childhood friend, Ronnie Swango officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to go for a college fund for his son, Sawyer. Those can be made at the funeral home.
