Armadillo found dead along Ind. 1 near Dearborn County line

An armadillo was found dead on Indiana 1 near the Dearborn County line by Joe Schirmer Tuesday morning, October 13. A message was left for the Ninth District Conservation Officer office. As of Wednesday morning, October 14, no answer was given if armadillos are moving into the area. Bill Schirmer said it may have been a pet.
